The machine is equipped with devices that allow an accurate control of the tension also in case of sudden speed of the helicopter (it maintains the set-up braking force independently of the helicopter speed). ASD (Advanced Safety Devices) installed prevents machine stop in case of failures.
The machine can also be used as a ‘traditional’ tensioner of a conductor or a fiber optic cable. It is  also possible to use the machine as a puller to pull-back the  rope / conductor.
